Co. Waterford
Modeligo GAA serves the small rural parish of Modeligo, in the Blackwater valley of west County Waterford. The club fields teams in both hurling and Gaelic football and, like several of its neighbours, combines with other parishes at underage level.
Its landmark results have come in the junior grades. Modeligo won the Waterford County Junior Football Championship in 1996, beating St Mollerans in the final, and took the County Junior Hurling Championship in 2008 with a win over Fenor. A second junior hurling title followed in 2014, and the club went on from that to win the Munster junior club championship, beating Cork champions Castlemartyr at Mallow.
At under 21 level the club joins with Sliabh gCua/St Mary's and Colligan under the name Comeragh Gaels. Modeligo plays in green and white.
