About the club

Castlemitchell is a Gaelic football club in County Kildare which has twice climbed to senior status, in the 1950s and again in the 1990s, from a small catchment area.

It is the home club of Christy Byrne, an All-Ireland finalist in 1998, and of Tadhg Fennin, a Leinster Championship winner with Kildare in 2000.
