About the club

CLG An tSean Phobail is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in An Sean Phobal, the Gaeltacht area west of Dungarvan in County Waterford. It is one of the small number of GAA clubs in the country operating in an Irish speaking community, and Irish is the everyday language of the parish.

The club concentrates on Gaelic football. Its best known result is the Waterford Junior Football Championship of 1949. For hurling purposes the area is associated with the neighbouring Rinn Ó gCuanach club, in the other half of the Waterford Gaeltacht.

The club colours are red and white.
