About the club

Padraig Pearses is a Gaelic Athletic Association club drawing from the parishes of Moore, Taughmaconnell and Creagh in County Roscommon. The club plays in red and white, at Woodmount in Creagh.

It was founded in 1962 as an amalgamation of two junior clubs, Moore and Taughmaconnell. Men's Gaelic football was the only code at the outset, with hurling confined to the Creagh end of the catchment.

The club has since grown to cover the full range of Gaelic games, including ladies' football and camogie, and fields underage teams across almost every code.
