About the club

Mayo Gaels, or Gaeil Mhaigheo, is a Gaelic football club at Mayo Abbey in County Mayo. Home games are played at Abbey Park.

The club was formed in 1975 and entered championship football that same year. Its best-known success came in 1984, when it took the Mayo Intermediate Football Championship.
