About the club

Islandeady, in Irish CLG Oileán Éadaigh, is a Gaelic football club in Islandeady, County Mayo, founded in 1904.

In 1974 it won the West Mayo championship, beating Westport in the final by 1-5 to 1-2 under captain John Fitzgerald, and went on to take the county junior championship.

The club currently competes in the Mayo Intermediate Football Championship.
