About the club
Erin's Own was founded in 1885 and has been the main sporting organisation in the Castlecomer area of County Kilkenny ever since.
The club is unusually broad: in 2006 it fielded teams across 11 different grades of hurling and 7 of Gaelic football.
It has been undertaking a major development at its ground, Canon Kearns Park.
