About the club

Conahy Shamrocks is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the small parish of Conahy, County Kilkenny. Founded in 1886, it is one of the oldest clubs in the county.

Its greatest day came in 2008, when it won the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship at Croke Park, beating Moyle Rovers of Tipperary.

The cup was presented by Nickey Brennan, a Conahy man who was then president of the GAA.
