About the club
Garda is the Gaelic Athletic Association club of An Garda Síochána, founded in Dublin in 1922 and playing at Westmanstown.
The club won six Dublin Senior Football Championships, in 1927, 1929, 1933, 1934, 1935 and 1948, and returned to senior grade by winning the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship in 1986.
It has also fielded successful hurling teams.
