About the club

Ballyfermot Gaels is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin, founded in 1953.

The club has carried three names in its time. It began as Ballyfermot Gaels, became Ballyfermot De La Salle, and reverted to its original name in 2025.

It fields adult football and juvenile teams at various levels, and plays in the Kerry colours as a tribute to its first parish priest, the Kerryman Canon Charles Troy.
