About the club

Glenlara is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the rural area of Taur, near Newmarket in County Cork. It plays Gaelic football in the Duhallow division.

The club was founded in 1939 by D.A. Daly, P. Shine and R. O'Keeffe. It shares its corner of the county with Newmarket, Boherbue and Kiskeam.

In recent years Glenlara has established a permanent home at the old school in Glashykinleen.
