About the club

Clooney-Quin is a Gaelic Athletic Association club drawing on the villages of Clooney and Quin in County Clare. Founded in 1888, it fields teams in both hurling and Gaelic football.

Its best-known player was Amby Power, who captained Clare to the All-Ireland title in 1914.

In 2017 the club reached its first county senior final in 73 years, losing to Sixmilebridge after a replay.
