About the club

Loughgiel Shamrocks is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the village of Loughgiel in County Antrim, playing at Fr. Healy Park.

It remains the only club in Ulster to have won the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, first taking the title in 1983 and winning it again on 17 March 2012, when it beat Coolderry of Offaly by 4-13 to 0-17.

On 29 September 2013 the club completed four Antrim Senior Hurling Championships in a row, beating Cushendall in the first county final staged away from Casement Park since 1990.
